冬至
轉眼又冬至了。
雖然這個節日在我們熱帶國家很廢，我們還是延續傳統。
我們沒有冬天。所以改用雨季來代替。
小時候老媽跟我講，冬至要吃湯圓，然後你就算大一嵗了。
我就覺得華人很累。先不要管爲什麽吃湯圓就大一嵗。
我們來做一個數學題。
冬至大一嵗，農曆新年大一嵗，農曆生日大一嵗，
然後人日又大一嵗。一年要大四嵗，死了還要加三嵗。
所以，華人是不是比 Ang Mo 老得快？？？
唉。。。很久沒有回家吃湯圓了。 Sad 到完。。。

Next year may be have a chance to go home for "Dong Zhi"
As it falls on Friday !
...was oblivious of it till I saw bowls of Tang Yuan sitting on the counter at a Vietnamese-Chinese store from where I got my breakfast. Quickly, "Can I have two of those?" I asked.
Therefore, this morning -- one for me, one for my colleague -- we were remembering the winter solstice and recalling the warm moments back home. And yes, I had a wonderful day in the office today!

this is th rainy season? haha, wait till you come to Vancouver! we have a rainy winter where you'll experience perpetual (or very very frequent) rainfall!

我媽昨天也跟我說吃了湯圓就長一歲..her reason was..cuz 冬至完就過年啦..過年不就長一歲 @.@
