Love is all around
Whenever I felt gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport.General opinion started to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed.
But I don't see that.
Seems to me that love is everywhere.
Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy but it's always there.
Fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husband and wives, boyfrieds, girlfriends, old friends.
When the plane hit the Twin Towers, none of the phone calls from people onboard were messages of hate or revenge.
They were all messages of love.
If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that LOVE ACTUALLY is
all around.

Without glancing at the accompanying text, I thought the "story" happened in Malaysia. Then, I realized it was in HCM City.
No doubt, the setting and color is very Southeast-Asianish.
It's very moving, with the texture of soil -- simple, unpretentious, and transparently true. 非常平實地感人．
最近剛重看＂花樣年華＂，再次覺得那個故事與那種意境非常地感人．周先生最後是將心事一字一字的塞進吳哥窟里的．天啊，歷史的見證，歷史的護佑．
（抱歉，今天放假．時間很多，所以也寫很多．）
